Our Story

It began with a small mistake.

December 2019

Ademide dialled a number on WhatsApp believing she was calling her friend Tomiwa.

She had called the wrong Tomiwa. The person who answered was Adetomiwa.

She hung up.

He saw her profile picture and messaged to ask who had called.

A simple explanation became a conversation. The conversation refused to stop.

Friendship became love.

Family and friends began describing them as inseparable.

Their families grew close. Their friendship circles merged.

Eventually Adetomiwa asked Ademide to marry him.

And now they are preparing to say: “I do.”

Grateful every day for the wrong number that led them to exactly the right person.

The White Wedding comes first on 17 December 2026 in Ikoyi, followed by the Traditional Wedding on 19 December 2026 in Ikeja.

Please complete the RSVP form on this website by 21 October 2026. Each guest should RSVP individually so we can plan seating and catering.

Plus-ones are only permitted if specifically approved by the couple or families. Please do not assume a plus-one is included in your invitation.

Our celebrations are adults-only. We hope this gives parents an evening to relax and celebrate with us.

Garden Formal. Ladies: long, floor-length or maxi dresses, fascinators highly encouraged. Gentlemen: breathable suits, linen and lightweight fabrics encouraged. Please avoid all black; white and ivory are reserved for the bride and groom.

Ladies: peach lace with a peach gele. Gentlemen: cream agbada with a peach fila.

The White Wedding takes place in Ikoyi, Lagos and the Traditional Wedding in Ikeja, Lagos. Exact venue addresses will be shared here closer to the date.

The vow ceremony begins at 3:00 PM and guests should be seated by 2:30 PM.

Engagement rights begin at 2:00 PM on 19 December 2026. Arrival guidance will be confirmed here closer to the date.

Guests attending the White Wedding may prefer Ikoyi or Victoria Island. Guests attending the Traditional Wedding may prefer Ikeja, especially Ikeja GRA.
